Dr. Geneviève audet
Dr. Audet graduated from the University of Montreal in 1997 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Diploma. She was American and California board-certified where she practiced dentistry for eight years before returning to Canada and establishing herself in the heart of Rockland at her other office, Dr. Genevieve Audet + associés. In addition to her formal dental training, she completed specialized instructions from Dr. Rondeau in Toronto focusing on early orthodontics. Dr. Audet believes in early orthodontic treatment with functional appliances.

Dr. Cynthia Simon
Dr. Simon drew inspiration from her own dentist in Sudbury, Ontario when she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She began her journey of lifelong learning by obtaining her B.Sc.(honours) at Laurentian University, before studying dentistry at l’Université de Montréal. She graduated with her D.M.D. (Doctorate of Dental Medicine) in 1997 & has been practicing in Kanata at Hazeldean Family Dental Centre ever since.
She enjoys all aspects of general, preventive & cosmetic dentistry, & attends a wide variety of continuing education courses on a regular basis. Of particular interest to her, is how breathing disorders in children can negatively impact growth & development of the jaws & lead to crooked teeth. She began taking courses on the subject in 2007 and is pleased to be able to offer early orthodontics to her young patients & Invisalign to her teen & adult patients.
Dr. Simon feels privileged to become part of the amazing community of Old Ottawa East and is very much looking forward to getting to know its residents, to help them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.
Dr. Anahita Azadi Boroujeni
Dr. Anahita Azadi Boroujeni received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2011 from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran as a top student. She was then accepted to the Periodontics specialty program and obtained her Masters of Science degree (MSc), in Periodontics in 2015 & was ranked top five among all the graduates in her program. Shortly after, she became a faculty member at Kashan University of Medical Sciences as an associate professor in the Periodontology Department(2015-2019). During this time, she became Head of the Periodontology & Implant Dentistry/Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Departments (2017-2019).
In 2019, she moved to Canada and successfully passed the National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) of Canada equivalency program and received her Canadian licence as a general dentist in early 2020. She is now a member of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, the Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association, and continues her education through various seminars and study clubs.
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but her main areas of interest are periodontal surgeries and implant dentistry. She is happy to have joined the team at River Dental, contributing to the oral health & beautiful smiles of all their clients. Thanks to her experience as a professor, she has excellent communication skills & enjoys explaining dental & surgical concepts so patients feel comfortable & feel well informed.
Dr. Daniel Bitar
Dr. Daniel Bitar is a kind and skilled general dentist, born and raised here in Ottawa Ontario. He received his bachelor’s degree in biopharmaceutical science with a specialization in genomics from the University of Ottawa before attending dental school at the University of Western Ontario. At Western he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinctions, before returning to his hometown to practice. He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association and the Ottawa Dental Society.
Dr. Dan enjoys all aspects of conservative general dentistry and is committed to delivering the highest level of patient-centred dental care with the most up-to-date treatment options. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic, and is enthusiastic about continued education and dental outreach. He is also certified in mild to moderate sedation (oral and nitrous) for those patients with dental anxiety. He is involved in the community through volunteering, passionate about fitness & wellness, and always learning new innovative ways to help you smile!
Between office hours, Dr. Dan enjoys watching and participating in organized sports, hiking, cooking, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Natasha-Rose Rizk
Dr. Natasha-Rose Rizk grew passionate for dentistry at a young age by observing her uncles, also dentists. An Ottawa native, Dr. Rizk attended University of Ottawa to study Health Sciences and graduated with Summa Cum Laude distinction in 2013. She then went on to dental school at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. She graduated with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2017 and was awarded Delta Dental’s Leadership Award. Following graduation, Dr. Rizk practiced as an associate in private practice and as lead dentist for a dental service organization in Virginia and South Carolina. In 2020 she returned home to Ottawa with her husband, Dr. Andrew Denardo and joined the River Dental team in October 2021.
As a general dentist, Dr. Rizk strives to provide high quality dentistry and preventive education to her patients while always valuing their comfort. She is heavily committed to continuing education and expanding the scope of her practice. She has attended many courses including sleep dentistry, implant dentistry, clear aligner training, digital dentistry and more. Dr. Rizk has participated in many charitable event such as Dentistry from the Heart, Give Kids a Smile and Aspen Dental’s Day of Service to give back to those who do not have access to dental care.
In her spare time, Dr. Rizk loves spending time with her family and friends, travelling, gardening and staying active. Dr. Rizk feels privileged to be able to serve the community where she grew up and soon start a family.
